Focus Lab: I'm Dead

A hands-on lab for actors who want to book horror—without spiraling into “big acting,” vague panic, or random yelling.

Horror auditions ask you to do a lot at once: high stakes, extreme emotional turns, and a ton of invisible circumstances (the threat, the blood, the creature, the sound behind you, the thing you can’t look at). If your imagination and your choices aren’t specific, your performance gets generalized.

We’ll train how to create believable terror and urgency through POV + behavior + clear moment-to-moment logic, so the audience (and casting) can track you even when the scene is chaos.

You'll work on:

• Making imaginary danger specific (where it is, how close it is, what it wants, what you know vs don’t know)
